High Performance for Today’s Demanding Applications
The Neutron EWS650AP marks a new performance breakthrough for Outdoor AP with expanded capacity and fast 11ac speeds to 867Mbps on 5GHz and to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Wireless users with next generation 802.11ac laptops, tablets and other devices, who need to stream HD video or transfer large files will find this powerful Access Point not only affordable, but more than up to those high-bandwidth tasks.

Dual-Band (2.4/5GHz) Expands User Capacity & Optimizes Traffic Flow with Band Steering
Featuring Dual-Band concurrent wireless coverage, the EWS650AP supports expanded user capacity, enabling 2.4GHz and newer 5GHz devices to simultaneously connect for maximum speed and performance. Band Steering automatically shifts Dual-Band clients to the less congested 5GHz band, greatly optimizing overall bandwidth traffic on the network.

High-Performance Reception, Long-Range, Multi-Floor Penetration

The EWS650AP is designed to operate in a variety of outdoor environments while supporting demanding business applications, making its high-powered, long-range coverage a cost-effective alternative to other Outdoor 11ac Access Points that don’t have the range or capacity to support a growing number of outdoor wireless users needing to connect to the network.

EnGenius Neutron EWS650AP 11ac Outdoor AP is a high-powered Dual-Band Outdoor Managed Wireless AP with expanded capacity and fast 11ac wireless speeds to 867Mbps on 5GHz and to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. It can function as a stand-alone Access Point or part of a scalable Neutron WLAN Management Solution. The AP features a high transmit RF power of 27dBm on 2.4 GHz and 26dBm on the 5GHz frequency band, for greater wireless coverage outdoors.

Wireless LAN Management with ezMaster™
Neutron Managed Access Points can be deployed as a standalone wireless AP or part of a scalable Neutron Wireless Network Management Solution and managed via a WLAN Controller Switch or centrally managed via ezMaster Network Management Software. Together with Neutron Switches and Access Points, ezMaster is a flexible, highly scalable solution offering centralized network management with rich reporting and analytics, business-class features and no AP licensing or annual subscription fees.

Simplified Configuration
With the EnGenius ezMaster Network Management Software, Neutron APs are quickly auto-discovered and provisioned. Once your APs are connected to the ezMaster server, they are automatically synched to existing project groups, saving you significant time and trouble. One-click individual or bulk configurations and upgrades save even more time.

Flexible Power Options with Power-over-Ethernet Support
Since the EWS650AP is designed for discrete ceiling placement, where power outlets may be scarce, it supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), allowing the AP to be powered through a connected Ethernet cable to a PoE 802.3at-capable Switch, with the EnGenius Gigabit PoE Injector (EPE-4818G) or operate as a stand-alone AP powered via the included adapter.

High-Speed Performance for Today’s Demanding Applications
Outdoor 11ac wireless speeds to 867Mbps on 5 GHz & speeds to 300Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band support demanding, high bandwidth applications for multiple users.
Achieve a Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) per Deployment
Enjoy NO AP licensing fees, annual subscriptions or tech support charges; you’ll save a tremendous amount of time and cost in network management.
Operate as a Stand-alone AP or Part of a Scalable WLAN Management Solution
Deploy as a standalone AP for or as a part of a scalable Neutron WLAN Solution managed via a WLAN Controller Switch or centrally managed via ezMaster software.

Unlimited Flexibility and Scalability
Scale your network as your needs grow, manage a few or over 1,000 Neutron devices on networks in different locations and 10 – 10,000 concurrent users with or without an on-site controller.
Implement as a Cloud-based, Remote or Locally Managed Platform
ezMaster’s flexible deployment options offer greater manageability regardless of network size, location, infrastructure, scale and ISP.
Visibly Rich Reporting and Analytics
EzMaster provides complete network visibility in areas such as traffic flow, demand, network topology and more.
