The EWS1200-52T Switch’s 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports provide seamless, high-speed access for networked devices while reducing bottlenecks that can interrupt communications. The Switch’s four (4) SFP slots are ideal for extending the wired network beyond the limitation of Ethernet cabling and are useful for connecting the network between buildings.
Easy Network Management, Visibility & Troubleshooting
The Smart Switch’s network management, visibility, and troubleshooting functionalities are achieved through its web interface or powered by ezMaster, EnGenius’ robust, yet easy-to-use web-based tool. The Switch’s Network Topology view automatically maps network deployment, displaying device relationships across the infrastructure, and is useful for troubleshooting issues that would otherwise require manual tracking.

The Smart Switch excels as a full-featured Layer 2 Switch with performance enhancing features which reduce multicasting traffic, speeds up port blocking and port forwarding, and increases bandwidth and network redundancy by load-balancing traffic across all available links. Control each port’s available bandwidth speeds for specific devices like access points in areas where more or less speed is needed like in lobbies or conference rooms.
